Trail Work – We build and groom trails, usually once a week, with each person working at her/his level for about 2-3 hours. There are over 200 miles of regional trails, with a lot of needed care and maintenance. Trail Stewards - monitor their assigned trail, repair minor problems and notify the Trail Crew Supervisor when a their trail needs work from the Crew. TRACKS Communications: includes keeping the TRACKS Website current, keeping the membership informed of changes and events by email or telephone, writing and distributing the TRACKS Newsletter and getting information published in local newspapers, etc. Financial Support – TRACKS is a volunteer organization supported by donations. Your contribution helps provide tools and materials for trail work and special events, all of which help improve the quality of life in Arizona’s wonderful White Mountains.

Special Events - TRACKS supports the Tour of the White Mountains Mountain Bike Race, with proceeds helping the regional medical center, TRACKs, and other local charities. TRACKS members also volunteer at the Duece of Clubs Triathlon, proceeds from which help disabled athletes and local charities. Special Events - TRACKS members organize a Trash Pick-up periodically. We also support and participate in local events such as the annual Heart Walk and the Cool Running footrace. We also support local efforts on National Trails Day with guided hikes and information about TRACKS and the local trails. ... attend a workshop provided by IMBA - the International Mountain Biking Association - where we learn the latest methods used to build and maintain sustainable trails.
